🌳 3-30-300 Index: Urban Greenery Remote Sensing Framework (with Fondazione Bruno Kessler)
Built an end-to-end pipeline evaluating the 3-30-300 urban greenery standard across Italian cities from orthophoto and OpenStreetMap data. Combines zero-shot deep-learning tree detection (DeepForest + Segment Anything Model 2) with GDAL viewshed analysis for tree-visibility compliance, vegetation-index-based canopy extraction (ExG/NDVI) at the H3-hexagon level, and network-routed park-access analysis using OSM entrance detection and GraphHopper. Designed and ran the full data pipeline on GPU cloud infrastructure, including per-city model calibration and manual validation of detection accuracy against ground truth.
